i dunno about where you live... but here in my lovely home of colorado, i'd say we had fall hanging around until this month of december when the snow started to fall more frequently. (we had a white Christmas! ah!)

one of my favorite clothing pieces to pull outta of my closet when fall greets us & when winter takes over is (faux) FUR. mm. it's so cozy & fun, & adds a lil spark to any outfit.

i meant to do this post in the thick of fall, but didn't get around to it until now. anyhoo, here are just a few of my favorite ways to wear fur this season. hopefully these examples inspire you to dare to incorporate fur into your outfits! if you've never tried fur, i'm officially sending you a friendly challenge right now to step outta your fashion comfort zone & try it. betcha you'll love it.

pair a white fur vest over a blue jean shirt + some leather leggings for a diverse casual outfit.

lace + fur? yes please. convert a summer dress into one ready for the colder months by hooking it up with tights, over the knee socks & boots.. & don't forget that fur vest!

black fur vests are so versatile. this may be an easier option for those hesitant to venture out into trying fur for the first time. pair a black fur vest with something else that pops, like a leather skirt with over the knee boots + a statement necklace, in order to keep the vest a little more subtle.

or, let your fur vest steal the show! this is a fun look for all those winter parties. simply throw your fur vest over a sweater dress & tights to stay cozy warm.

vests aren't the only way you can introduce fur into your wardrobe. sling a long fur scarf around with a poppin cardigan & fun leggings for a brisk errand-running day.

i love pairing things together that maybe don't normally go together. like a strapless maxi dresses in winter. wear leggings under your maxi like i do & your legs will stay warm! then throw on your favorite blazer with a shorter fur scarf to add a lil spunk to the outfit. wah lah!
